Chips/cards for identification

Chips as key fobs serve to easily identify the child when food is served. For this, a new chip for the child must be registered and issued in the system on a one-off basis. Then the chip simply needs to be presented.

Issuance of a new chip

If your child has registered on the web portal, they will normally receive a chip at their first meal distribution.

Some schools have set days or times for issuing chips to newly registered children. Please find out in advance (e.g., at school information sessions) which procedure is used.

The employee will first search for your child by name and then assign a new chip to the child. The chip is then attached to the child, so that in the future the child can easily identify themselves by presenting the chip.

Automatically lock/unlock chips

Should your child ever lose or misplace their key fob, you can easily and quickly block it yourself via the canteen portal.

Once the chip is blocked, it can no longer be used to collect food.

Should the chip be found later, you can also reactivate it yourself via the canteen portal.

To do this, click on the lock symbol on the right side of the window next to the corresponding chip entry.

If the lock is open, the card/chip is free and can be used. If the lock is closed, The card/chip is currently locked and cannot be used.
